Almost three years later, the actress resumed the shooting of the show’s second season. She took to Instagram to share a series of pictures from the shooting spot. Soon, fans flooded the comments section with emojis. A netizen called her Junior Jayalalithaa.
The movie Queen is based on the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Selvi J.Jayalalithaa. But Gautham Vasudev Menon said in an interview that the series was not based on her life. In 2019, when the series was released, the Queen team faced legal issues. Gautham Vasudev Menon said, “We have taken some inspiration side from the book, and came up with the story. If you find the resemblance, then it’s not my fault, I guess.” He added.
